It’s a new year and we’re taking time to highlight some of our amazing CSG employees! We’ve asked Monica Weaver a few questions to get to know her a little better!

What is your title at CSG?  Sr. Benefit Consultant

How long have you been with the company? 3 ½ years

What is your favorite aspect of your job?  My favorite part of being a Benefit Consultant is building lasting relationships (and friendships!) with my clients and helping them navigate the complicated and sometimes confusing world of employee benefits.

Do you have a favorite sports team?  My favorite sports teams are Texas A&M (my alma mater) and the Dallas Cowboys.

Do you have any collections or hobbies?  I’ve been an avid reader for most of my life so whenever I have a free moment, you can probably catch me reading. I also enjoy collecting old movies.

Before working at CSG Companies, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?  Prior to CSG, most of my work experience was in Human Resources which is actually a very interesting job! You would be surprised at all of the odd and unusual situations that arise on a daily basis. There was almost always something “exciting” happening.

Do you have a motto or personal mantra? “It’s better to look back on life and say ‘I cant believe I did that’ than to look back and say ‘I wish I did that’.” This reminds me not to be afraid of taking chances – the worst thing we can do is fail, but that is also how we learn.

What did you want to be when growing up? As a child, my greatest aspiration was to be a mother. I once said I would like to have 10 kids (although 4 ended up being PLENTY for me)!

What is your favorite movie and book? My favorite movie is “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” (also a great book!)

If you could meet anyone in the world dead or alive who would it be and why?  I would love to meet Audrey Hepburn. Not only is she one of my favorite actresses of all time, she had a wonderful outlook on life and was a great humanitarian through her work with UNICEF.
